Hatchify exists because too much enterprise technology is sold as slideware and delivered as disappointment. We're the other kind of consultancy: the kind that ships.
Born in production, raised in regulated industries.
Hatchify started in Sydney building the kind of systems most consultancies avoid: wagering exchanges that can't blink on race day, insurance platforms a regulator reads line by line, trading systems where milliseconds are margin.
That upbringing shaped everything. When you learn engineering where downtime makes headlines and audits are a certainty, you develop habits — infrastructure as code, evidence trails, security by design — that most teams adopt only after their first incident.
Then AI arrived, and the industry rediscovered our problem: brilliant demos that can't survive contact with security review. The same discipline that got wagering platforms through regulators is exactly what gets AI systems into production. So that's what we do — for enterprises across Australia and beyond.
In 2026 we became a company that ships product as well as engagements. Vendra came directly out of the consulting work: we kept watching good projects die in procurement and security review, so we built the tool that fixes it. It runs in production, against the same regulation our clients answer to — which makes it the clearest evidence we can offer that we can do the same for you.
- Production is the only demo that counts. If it isn't live, governed and monitored, it isn't done.
- Senior engineers, or nobody. We don't run a bench and we don't bill juniors to learn on your budget.
- Compliance is a design input. Retrofitted governance costs ten times more and works half as well.
- You own everything. Your AWS accounts, your repos, your IP. Our job is to make ourselves progressively unnecessary.
- Three things in one day, not one thing in three days. Senior teams move fast because they've done it before — momentum is part of the deliverable.
- Straight answers. If a use case won't survive production, we say so in week two — not month eighteen.

Selling "compliance first" is easy. The test is what a firm publishes about itself when the honest answer is unflattering.
Terms you can read up front
Vendra's tiers, uplift cap and exit terms are set out before you talk to anyone: uplift capped at CPI for three years, written into the order form, and a complete self-service data export. Leaving should be easy, and if it isn't, nothing else means much.
In-progress means in progress
Vendra's ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II are published as in progress, with the stage stated, because they are not finished. Roadmap features are labelled "(in build)". A trust page that only ever shows green is a trust page nobody is maintaining.
Every claim has a source
Each regulatory citation in Vendra records the instrument it was verified against — CPS 230 against F2026L00475, for instance — and the demonstration portfolio is disclosed as fictional. If a claim cannot be checked, we cut it.
